Our basic rule
The Veristio Press accepts only advertising that is lawful, honest, clearly identified, and appropriate for our readers.
Advertising helps support the publication. It does not control our reporting.
We may accept, reject, pause, remove, or decline to renew any advertisement at our discretion.
Acceptance of an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance of a campaign.
Advertising does not control editorial work
Advertisers and sponsors do not control:
- the sources we use;
- which stories we cover;
- which stories appear on the front page;
- how stories are ranked;
- headlines;
- analysis;
- conclusions;
- corrections;
- developing-story labels;
- archive records;
- Veristio Original articles;
- RSS publication;
- Blogger syndication;
- author bylines;
- editorial classifications.
Advertising supports The Veristio Press but does not influence verification, editorial selection, analysis, corrections, or conclusions.
We do not sell favorable coverage, suppressed coverage, headline approval, source approval, correction control, or guaranteed placement beside a particular story.
Advertising is clearly labeled
Paid placements are identified with clear language such as:
- Advertisement
- Paid Advertisement
- Sponsored Advertisement
- Classifieds & Professional Notices
The label appears before or at the beginning of the advertisement.
Advertising must remain recognizable as advertising on desktop and mobile devices.
We do not disguise advertisements as independent reporting.
Veristio Press house messages may be labeled:
- From Veristio Press
- Press Notice
- Explore Veristio
Advertisers are responsible for their claims
Advertisers are responsible for the truth, accuracy, legality, and support for every claim they submit.
Objective claims must have reliable supporting evidence before an advertisement is accepted.
Claims about performance, safety, price, savings, results, effectiveness, research, testing, endorsements, or comparisons may require documentation.
Our review does not transfer responsibility for an advertisement from the advertiser to Veristio Press.
We may request evidence, qualifications, corrections, or additional disclosures.
We may reject a claim that cannot be verified or presented clearly.
Identity and destination review
We require enough information to identify the advertiser and understand the proposed campaign.
We review:
- advertiser identity;
- organization or business;
- advertising category;
- proposed wording;
- images and other creative material;
- destination links;
- claims and supporting evidence;
- accessibility;
- possible editorial conflicts;
- requested dates and placement.
Anonymous advertising is not accepted.
Destination links must use safe public HTTPS addresses.
We do not accept JavaScript links, unsafe redirects, loopback addresses, private network addresses, local filesystem paths, malware, deceptive downloads, or destinations that materially differ from the advertisement.
Advertising we may consider
Subject to individual review, we may consider advertising involving:
- books and publishing;
- editing and proofreading;
- book design, formatting, and production;
- responsible artificial intelligence tools and services;
- professional software;
- technology education;
- robotics and engineering;
- educator resources;
- conferences and workshops;
- libraries, museums, and educational institutions;
- legitimate employment notices;
- calls for papers;
- calls for submissions;
- professional services relevant to readers of The Veristio Press.
A permitted category is not automatic approval.
Every advertiser, claim, creative item, destination, and campaign remains subject to review.
Advertising we do not accept
We do not accept advertising involving:
- deceptive, false, or unverifiable claims;
- false scarcity or misleading urgency;
- impersonation or counterfeit goods;
- malware, spyware, or covert surveillance products;
- firearms, ammunition, weapons, or explosives;
- illegal or recreational drugs;
- nicotine products;
- alcohol;
- gambling;
- pornography or adult sexual products;
- extremist, terrorist, or hate-related material;
- political campaigns;
- political candidates;
- ballot measures;
- political fundraising;
- issue-advocacy advertising;
- miracle cures;
- restricted or prescription medication;
- get-rich-quick schemes;
- deceptive investment promotions;
- unlicensed financial solicitations;
- unauthorized cryptocurrency or token promotions;
- plagiarism services;
- essay mills;
- academic cheating;
- advertisements that materially threaten reader safety, privacy, trust, or Veristio Press editorial credibility.
We may reject other categories that present legal, safety, credibility, privacy, or editorial-conflict concerns.
Display advertisements
Display advertising may use approved newspaper-native formats such as:
- quarter-column;
- half-column;
- full-column;
- restrained quarter-page;
- horizontal page strip.
Final size and placement depend on available governed inventory.
Editorial content is composed first.
Advertising may use only the space that remains available after editorial composition.
We do not guarantee a specific page, position, story adjacency, number of impressions, number of clicks, response level, or business result unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
Front-page advertising
The front spread may contain no more than one restrained advertising or house placement under the current policy.
It may not:
- appear above the masthead;
- replace the lead story;
- interrupt the lead headline;
- hide source or verification information;
- dominate the folded newspaper;
- replace the Read Today’s Edition interaction;
- resemble independent reporting.
Veristio Press may leave the space unused or use a governed house notice.
Classifieds & Professional Notices
The Veristio Press may consider legitimate professional notices involving:
- employment;
- publishing services;
- education;
- conferences;
- workshops;
- calls for papers;
- calls for submissions;
- professional events;
- other approved reader-relevant notices.
Classified notices are reviewed before publication.
There is no anonymous posting or automatic public submission system.
A classified notice is advertising and is labeled accordingly.
Section sponsorships
A section may carry a restrained sponsorship acknowledgment.
A sponsorship does not give the sponsor control over:
- stories;
- sources;
- headlines;
- placement of individual articles;
- analysis;
- corrections;
- conclusions.
Full section takeovers are not currently offered.
Sponsored features
Paid editorial-style sponsored features are not currently active.
They require separate owner, Licensing, editorial, disclosure, and implementation approval before they may be offered or published.
Privacy
Our current advertising model is direct, manually reviewed, and privacy-preserving.
We do not currently permit:
- third-party advertising networks;
- behavioral targeting;
- retargeting;
- advertiser tracking pixels;
- advertiser JavaScript;
- fingerprinting;
- cross-site profiling;
- advertiser access to private reader information.
Advertisers do not receive access to reader conversations, private account information, or private Website data.
Any future measurement or reporting system requires separate review and public disclosure before activation.
Accessibility and creative requirements
Advertisements must remain usable and understandable for readers with disabilities.
Creative material must:
- use readable text;
- provide sufficient contrast;
- avoid flashing;
- avoid autoplay;
- avoid unexpected sound;
- include meaningful alternative text where needed;
- remain understandable without relying only on an image;
- work at mobile sizes;
- avoid obstructing editorial content;
- avoid keyboard traps or inaccessible controls.
We may require revised creative material before approval.
Timing and placement
Campaign dates and placement must be approved before publication.
Advertisements render only when:
- the advertiser is approved;
- the advertisement is approved;
- required reviews are complete;
- the destination is safe;
- accessibility requirements are met;
- the publication state is active;
- the approved campaign window is current.
Advertisements fail closed.
An unapproved, expired, paused, rejected, or future-dated advertisement does not appear.
Corrections, pauses, and removal
We may correct, pause, or remove advertising when:
- a claim becomes inaccurate;
- evidence is insufficient;
- a destination becomes unsafe;
- creative material changes without approval;
- a campaign violates this policy;
- a legal, safety, privacy, or credibility concern arises;
- a campaign conflicts with a later verified development;
- an advertiser fails to meet an applicable agreement.
Advertisers should promptly report errors or material changes.
Removal of an advertisement does not remove or change independent editorial reporting.
Pricing, payment, and availability
Public pricing and self-service advertising purchases are not currently active.
Placement availability, price, payment, cancellation, and other commercial terms are handled separately and may require a written agreement.
An inquiry does not reserve inventory.
No placement or performance result is guaranteed unless expressly stated in an approved written agreement.

- organization or business name;
