This pathway helps authors organize front, spine, and back-cover requirements, trim and binding details, typography and imagery direction, rights declarations, accessibility, revisions, and final approval before any separately authorized production work.

Who it is for

Authors with a real book project who need to coordinate creative direction with print and ebook requirements, whether they are new to covers or bringing an existing design brief.

What it does

The private workshop saves title and author display, genre and audience, trim, page count, binding, spine information, front and back content, barcode space, imagery and rights notes, typography, color, layout, exclusions, accessibility, revisions, and approval state against the correct Project Room.

What it does not do

It does not promise image generation, artwork ownership, printing acceptance, publication, unlimited revisions, a purchase, or automatic Veristio Press service. Uploaded assets and paid fulfillment require separate authority.

Process

1. Sign in and choose the correct Project Room.
2. Complete the guided brief, using “undecided” where production facts are not final.
3. Save and reopen the brief across sessions.
4. Review rights, legibility, format, spine, bleed, safe-area, and barcode requirements with the applicable production provider.
5. Request separately scoped Veristio assistance when needed, then give final author approval before production use.

Responsibilities and deliverables

The author supplies truthful copy, preferences, authorized assets, and rights declarations. The workshop delivers an editable private specification. Veristio work, revision allowances, final production files, and support are confirmed separately and are never implied by this page.
